Developed by Prof. Gregory Phillips, this evidence-based pedagogy moves beyond cultural awareness. It invites participants to reflect deeply on racism, whiteness, and institutional bias and to reframe solutions through the lens of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander sovereignty, knowledges, and self-determination.
Two-Part Online Training
Part A – The Problem Wednesday 10 September, 10am–3pm AEST Explore definitions of cultural safety, racism, and whiteness.
Part B – The Solution Wednesday 24 September, 10am–3pm AEST Engage with models of self-determination and guided discussion.
Participants receive curated resources to consolidate learning and support change in their professional or community roles.
